Located at 1 Fort Mason in San Francisco, the Officer’s Club was built in 1855. This building has served as the residence of the commanding general of the Pacific and later as the Officer’s Club of the San Francisco Port of Embarkation. The Officer’s Club has been home to 44 different Generals and received such guests as Presidents Ulysses S. Grant, John F. Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson and Richard Nixon.
This Post-Civil War style building has a large dining room, grand ballroom, and a spacious bar-lounge. These rooms all have stunning views of the bay, aquatic park and Alcatraz. The main entrance opens into a beautiful central sitting area with two fireplaces, leather chairs and couches and full crystal chandeliers.

With plantation shutters and lively colors, the exterior of 12 Gallagher Lane is reminiscent of artist Hunt Slonem’s two restored plantation homes in Louisiana. The interior of the gallery is also filled with colorful walls personally chosen by the artist to playfully accentuate his work. Inside the space period pieces such as a Roman marble bathtub, a Baccarat chandelier, ancient sculptures and a 1929 gilded piano complement the ebonized white oak floors. This newly renovated 3,300 square-foot gallery is split between a grand 2,500-foot first floor and an 800 square-foot private loft area.

Woodside – Memorable Mountaintop Events
The mountain top setting has sweeping views of the San Francisco Bay Area. Accommodating up to 216 guests, Thomas Fogarty Winery is an intimate, elegant, and relaxing setting for memorable events. Surrounded by vineyards and a beautifully landscaped lawn, the handsome redwood reception facility flows down the mountainside on three separate levels, each offering stunning views.
The 4,000 square foot Pavilion overlooks the Chardonnay vineyard. The unique copper roof and open air feel make the structure a Bay Area “one of a kind.” The Hill House and its adjoining terrace, hand crafted with redwood panels, tile, and hardwood floors, is an area used year round. The terrace has glass panels lined on runners, allowing it to be closed off on cooler days without sacrificing the famous view.

Located in a National Park, amongst a tranquil forest grove overlooking San Francisco Bay, the Golden Gate Club is the Presidio’s largest celebration and meeting facility. The graceful and historic Spanish Colonial Revival building offers a spectacular setting for weddings, private parties, meetings, and conferences.
The Presidio Golden Gate Club is available for reception rentals daily, year round, except for national holidays including Christmas Eve and Day as well as New Year’s Eve and Day. Reservations are taken up to one year in advance.

The Golden Gate Yacht Club was founded in 1939, when members built the first clubhouse on a barge located in the San Francisco Marina. Fifty years later, the Loma Prieta Quake severely damaged the Club, but through the hard work and dedication of our members, the Club rose again to become the showcase facility that now exists.
Today, the GGYC is a popular cruise and regatta venue on the San Francisco waterfront, with a dynamic organization of members dedicated to boating fun — both sail and power.

Piedmont Community Church, located in the heart of the city of Piedmont, is one of the most beautiful settings for a wedding ceremony in the Bay Area.
The magnificent sanctuary, surrounded by artful stained glass windows and the enchanting fountain courtyard with its colorful landscaping, are just a few of the many features that couples are seeking when looking for a site for a wedding ceremony and reception.
This beautiful mission style church, built in 1916, also has a smaller chapel in the Christian Education complex that seats about 100.
The fountain courtyard may also be used for ceremonies up to 100 guests.

Preservation Park’s unique collection of historic houses include a five-room conference center for meetings, seminars and conferences. The spaces vary from classroom style (Robinson House) to gracious salon (Ginn House) to an Arts & Crafts building (Nile Hall). Experience Victorian charm with modern day amenities…conveniently located in the East Bay, just minutes from downtown San Francisco.
The Park’s social center is the Pavilion, a graceful bandstand where ceremonies take place. Outdoor receptions are held in the adjacent Fountain Circle, a circular plaza with a large two-tiered Parisian fountain topped by the moon goddess Diana at its center.
If you are planning an indoor reception/event, two houses just off the Fountain Circle are available. The Ginn House, circa 1890, features two delightfully light and airy parlors reminiscent of an English country home. Both rooms are gracefully decorated with Victorian period art, drapes, and historic light fixtures. A grand staircase cascades into the foyer and each room is detailed with original wood paneling. Nile Hall, circa 1911, is a craftsman-style building with a sensational space for a grand and elegant party. Built in 1812 and restored in 1934, the Officers Club once housed Mexican and Spanish post commanders and was later the site of the meeting establishing the government of Yerba Buena, which later became San Francisco. One of the most important buildings in the Presidio’s National Historic Landmark District, it has hosted important social events for more than a century. The Club’s mission-style Moraga Ballroom, as well as two smaller venues, accommodate banquets and receptions.
